Today I hosted a curated shopping event for Neiman Marcus complete with champagne, croissants, create-your-own floral bouquets and their famous chocolate chip cookies. But the biggest treat is always to spend time with friends, meet other equally fashion-obsessed women and sip bubbles all while taking in the new spring collections and shopping for gifts the moms in our lives will love. I had so much fun curating gifts for everyone to shop from including my favorite Diptyque candles, tea from Tea Forte, and Chloe raffia bags. Vetted beauty writer Gail Slogoff also curated amazing clean beauty products from Hour Glass, BioEffect, Chantecaille and R & Co which we all rushed to purchase for ourselves!

For me, the sign of a good purchase is when I immediately put it on my body and wear it on constant rotation for the next 2-6 weeks. That’s what happened when I found these Adidas track pants in tonal green, and yes, I am wearing them as I write this.

While there are many iterations of a track pant on the market right now, Adidas did it first and does it best. I am obsessed with their new color combos for spring, and since too much of a good thing is great, I also had to have this crochet pair. A cooler, sportier version of crochet pants for the pool this summer? An instant yes.

Nothing evokes that summer feeling quite like a raffia bag. Thanks to Jane Birkin we’ve all been trying to capture that French je ne sais quoi and effortless It girl style. And while Jane’s basket shape has been a fashion favorite over the years, raffia bags have proliferated and there are now more shapes, sizes and colors than ever. Once relegated to the beach, raffia bags are now a top choice for an everyday bag. Everywhere you look lately there are cords adorning shoes and accessories – the kind we used to wear as bracelets as kids in fun neon colors. They’re dangling from bags, in place of necklace chains and, most famously, as sandal straps. The colors are fun and the aesthetic brings a cool factor to everything it adorns.

My favorites? Miu Miu’s rope sandals which IMO was the catalyst for this trend and this similar (much less expensive) pair from Raye, these paracord bag charms from Veronica Beard, this Prada card holder which I’d use in place of a bag and this happy cord charm bracelet and necklace from Roxanne Assouline. Time to get yourself roped in.

The bubble hem is making a comeback, but it can often look a bit juvenile. Here’s how I’m styling it to temper the shape and keep it looking elevated and sophisticated.

In our house, all family holidays and social gatherings are divided up this way: I do the shopping and the table setting, my husband does the cooking. It just works for us. And I take my job of setting tables very seriously. From the floral arranging to the dishes and glassware, I love to create a beautiful tablescape. And while I don’t need anything new, I love looking for beautiful pieces to mix & match with the pieces I already own. White feels like a clean slate, like a breath of fresh air and like summer is just on the horizon. Whether it’s head-to-toe white or the new neutral that goes back to everything else (sorry to all of my favorite black staples, but I’ll come back for you!), these are the white pieces I’m most excited about shopping for now.
