ISO: Breton Striped Tees
I’m a huge Francophile and love striped tees! Where can I find the perfect Breton stripes?
Jamie: Hi Kelly! It doesn’t get more French than a perfect Breton striped tee! Originally made for the French navy it became a staple of French fisherman and later a beloved style by artists and designers like Chanel and Picasso.
I think that Saint James makes the quintessential Breton tee like their Vire style here and others below. French brand Sezane also makes a great version as does La Ligne. While I love the classic Navy/ White and Red/ White stripe, all of these brands make them in a lot of other fun color combos. So if you wear a lot of stripes, you may want to try them too!
